Romsey and District Young Carers is a charity supporting young carers in Romsey. They aim to provide support and respite to young carers aged 5 to 25 by offering positive life experiences such as; enjoyable fun activities, the chance to improve confidence, learn new skills and providing a safe place to discuss any concerns.
Honeypot are the national young carers’ charity. They offer countryside respite breaks, and a range of support services that give young carers, with responsibilities beyond their years, the chance to be a child again.
Are passionate about enabling young carers not to let their extra responsibilities get in the way of school work or having fun. They make sure they understand their rights and allow them to put themselves first every once in a while. The Children’s Society also raise awareness of young carers and give them a voice on issues that affect them.
